What can I say? I was greatly disappointed with the results of the recent Canadian election. Not only are the Liberals “low-information voters”, so are the supporters of the NDP, the Green party of Canada, and the Bloc Quebecois!
On top of this there is a concerted effort by the mainstream media, not only in Canada, but also all around the world, to blacklist, and hinder, to denigrate anyone who disagrees with the unscientific “climate consensus”! People who want a discussion, including Climate professionals, are marginalized and called every name in the book!
We are back in 1933, only this time the bad-guys are all over the world! People like the NDP leader, who claims that those who don’t think like him “don’t deserve a platform”, are actually using Nazi techniques to shut-down debate! Meanwhile Democrats like Alan Dershowitz, who is a Jew and nowhere near a Nazi, are called “Nazis” by people who more closely resemble Hitler by their own behaviour!
The world is upside-down! Right is wrong, and evil is good!
Isaiah was talking about our generation when he wrote;
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

What we are watching in the USA today, the “Impeachment Inquiry” against president Donald Trump, is nothing less than a Stalinist era show-trial, with the accused being considered guilty even before the “trial” (actually a Kangaroo Court) even began!
Something I heard about just the other day; since 1961, every elected Republican president has had Articles of Impeachment filed against them, by Democratic members of congress! (Ford was not elected president) Unbelievable! The Democrats are not democratic in their methodology!
It is the same thing in Israel with the attacks against Netanyahu. To call accepting a gift of cigars, or a bottle of wine from a friend “bribery” boggles the mind! The fact is that his opposition is far more corrupt than he is!
So, when a prophecy student tells you that we are in the last days, make no mistake about it, it is the truth! Unfortunately it is going to get worse!
The giant German bank Deutsche Bank, is in a precarious financial position, with record losses, and recently laying-off 18,000 workers. This largest bank in Europe is in danger of collapse and when it does it will take down the European economy with it! Maybe even the World economy! Numerous analysts have stated that it appears that this will be more significant than the Lehman Brothers collapse of 2008! (Numerous articles are calling Deutsche Bank a “Zombie bank”; it is dead, but still walking!)
As I studied the bible’s End Times prophecies, I came to the conclusion that the European Union will not exist in its current form during the war of Ezekiel 38-39, and in the Tribulation period which will follow! Could the fall of Deutsche Bank be the trigger that begins the implosion of the European Union? Why stay in an economic Union that is not able to manage its own banking system?
The name Magog refers to a group of Eastern European nations including, but not limited to Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Finland, Georgia, and most of the nations in between them! As the EU falls apart these nations will be forced to band together to prevent their members from being swallowed by Russia!
As I write this, Israel has been undergoing a couple of days of rocket attacks from Islamic Jihad in the Gaza strip. Some prophecy watchers have been saying that they believe that this could trigger the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39.
There are a couple of factors that would go against this idea;
For one the Psalm 83 war has not yet occurred.
I follow Amir Tsarfati’s analyses on youtube, and while I believe that Amir is a brother in Christ, and he does have a lot of good information in his videos, he has made a mistake with regard to the Psalm 83 war. He has gone on record as saying that he believes the Arab attacks on Israel, from 1948 until now, actually constitute the Psalm 83 war, and that now the next event on the prophetic agenda is the Ezekiel 38-39 war.
I find a lot of Christians, when current events don’t go along with their interpretations of Scripture, often fall back on Augustine’s method of “allegorical interpretation”. While the psalm indicates that there will be One Attack consisting of ten nations which surround Israel, Amir believes that the 20th century attacks with smaller groups of nations being involved is the fulfillment of this prophecy.
There are a couple of problems with this idea;
1. The psalm describes one attack by ten nations (old nations listed by their patriarchs, may not be ten nations today, but it will include the descendants of all ten nations), not sporadic attacks by small handfuls of nations. Biblical prophecy is always fulfilled literally, and exactly!
2. The Psalm begins with the statement “They have taken crafty counsel against thy people…” Again, in none of the wars against Israel have their enemies actions ever been done in a manner that could be described as “crafty”. They made threats, massed their troops on the border, and then attacked!
No, what we are seeing today could be the beginning of a “crafty” strategy; Numerous Arab nations are saying that Israel has a right to defend its borders. Some, such as Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, are actually talking with Israel behind the scenes.
I am afraid that Amir’s credibility will be harmed when the Psalm 83 war occurs, and I wish he would be more careful in saying the psalm 83 war has already occurred; he should say “I think the psalm 83 war has occurred, but I am not certain”. This would leave some wiggle room!
What if Israel works with Saudi Arabia to take-out the Iranian nuclear facilities? Will this mean that the Saudis are ready to be friends, and to normalize relations with Israel?
Here’s how the Muslim mind works; When they see Israel working together with someone, like Saudi Arabia, to take-down a mutual enemy they will think something like this “Israel has cooperated with us to attack the Iranian Nuclear facilities because they can’t do it on their own! Israel is weak so now is the time to attack them!”
So when we see Israel and the Arabs working together, you can bet the Psalm 83 war is just around the corner! It is not imminent today.
Some prophecy watchers have been saying that they think the Ezekiel war is imminent, with Russia sitting in Syria, just to the north of Israel.
What the Lord says in Ezekiel 38 shows that Israel is in no danger today;
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
The only other time in Scripture that the phrase “turn thee back” is used is when Sennacherib was attacking Israel in 2 Kings 19:28 and Isaiah 37:29. In that instance Sennacherib was moving toward Israel, with the purpose of attacking, and God turned him back toward the place he came from, and he left-off his attack.
Using the same logic, if God is going to “turn back Gog and his forces” and then they attack, they must attack at a time when they are moving away from Israel! Since they are on the borders of Israel today, the attack won’t occur until they are leaving the area! In other words, They won’t attack until their leaving the area makes Israel feel secure!
I’m pretty sure Russia will still be in parts of Syria during the Psalm 83 war, and they will see Israel using nuclear devices to defend themselves due to this all-out attack. They won’t attack until a European leader convinces Israel to give-up their nukes in exchange for an iron-clad guarantee of support if Israel is attacked. This agreement will not be the Antichrist’s agreement, but ultimately, after the war, it will serve as the template for the Antichrist’s agreement.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Daniel 9:27
The word translated as “confirm”, גבר gawbar in the Hebrew, can also mean “to strengthen”, “confirm, or to give strength”, so in the context of the Antichrist’s agreement, he is not the originator of it, but it will be in place before he comes along. I suspect that it will be put in place after the Psalm 83 war, and it will work for a time, providing peace and prosperity for Israel and the Arabs, after their disastrous attack of Psalm 83. The world will see this work, and so after Ezekiel’s war it will be reinstated, and strengthened, and the world will applaud him for it! The problem is, of course, that after 3 1/2 years, he will break his word, and all Hell will break-loose on the earth! I don’t expect to be here by that time, because the Rapture will occur in the aftermath of this same war, and I expect to be with Jesus from then on! I hope you will be with us!
By the way, I don’t believe Vladimir Putin is Gog. I think it is more likely that Gog will be Georgian, since the Georgians are descended from Magog. Joseph Stalin is the perfect type of Gog, since he was Georgian, and he united the whole Soviet empire.
This agreement will also ensure that this Southern European leader, and the nations he controls will be victims in this same attack. Some of the attacking nations will actually think they are attacking the Antichrist, and when he is dead, the world will breathe a sigh of relief, thiinking the Antiichrist is dead, and then the Beast will stand up, and the world will welcome him as a peacemaker!
