Comments on the News, May 2015

Well, there is not one thing I want to focus on today, but I do have some comments about several articles that have been in the news over the last few weeks.

We are often in a hurry for God to work, and He is always working, but sometimes there are large spaces between the major events, or, sometimes we miss significant events because they aren’t exactly what we are looking for;

EGYPT: SISI SAYS NEED GROWING FOR JOINT ARAB FORCE

EGYPT: JOINT ARAB FORCE TO COMBAT ISIS, IRAN WILL BE READY WITHIN FOUR MONTHS

Arab League agrees to create joint Arab military force – Egypt’s president

Abdel Sisi on joint military

As I have stated before, it appears that neither Israel, not the USA are prepared to confront Iran over their goal of creating nuclear weapons, but it does appear that the Arabs just might. The US/Israeli reticence to start a war may be the incentive which will spur the Arabs to unite. Once the Iranians get a nuclear weapon, the Saudis are in as much danger as Israel, and just might be first in line as a target!

Closely related to the above is the fact that the US military is planning to sell bunker buster bombs, as well as other weapons, to the Saudis and the United Arab Emirates.

“Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that the Pentagon will sell Saudi Arabia and the UAE, two of the worst dictatorships in the world missiles, munitions and “Bunker-Busting” bombs worth up to $10.8 Billion.” See here and here

As I had often pondered, how could the Psalm 83 war be imminent, if Israel were to attack the Iranian nuclear installations by themselves? This appears to be the answer; The Arabs are watching Israel closely, and if Israel were to undertake such an effort it would clearly dissuade the Arabs from a soon-attack against such a nation. Since the Psalm 83 war appears to be the next major fulfilment of prophecy, however, it is unlikely that Israel would undertake such an effort.

I think they should. Humanly speaking, the only way to guarantee peace is to be prepared to defend yourself. Appearing weak, and dependent on others, leads to war, as soon as your benefactor backs-off. It appears to me that the USA is backing-off from their support of Israel.

Once the Arabs deal with the ISIS threat, that in itself would encourage them to tackle another common enemy; the Iranians. Once the Iranian threat is neutralized, and with a united Arab military at their disposal, the next logical joint venture would be an attack on Israel.

This time it won’t go so well…

pope francis

LAWMAKERS EXPRESS SHOCK, DISMAY AT POPE’S RECOGNITION OF PALESTINIAN STATE

Pope’s top adviser blasts US climate skeptics

Many Christian prophecy teachers and scholars are speculating that the pope is the biblical “false prophet” of the book of Revelation.

I am not so sure.

It looks more to me that the scenario I layed out in The Spirit of Prophecy is correct; A political union of southern Europe, being led by a pope, and another European leader, is being set-up for a great fall. The pope appears to be playing a role, which will identify him as the false prophet, for the purpose of deceiving the world, especially professing Christians!

I also can’t help but wonder if the fact that pope Benedict retired early will be used as an excuse by some Catholics to say that “Francis wasn’t a real pope”! Will they claim that an imposter came into the Catholic Church and led the world to Armageddon?  I am quite certain that the time is coming when they will want to distance themselves from him.

Satan is setting up his villains right now!  When the world does not incinerate due to global warming, those who jumped on the global warming bandwagon will look like very foolish, and evil, people.  Politicians around the world, including pope Francis, will suffer the scorn of billions!

Many will identify this duo as the false prophet, and the Antichrist. They will be in place when the Psalm 83 war occurs, and will be instrumental in negotiating a settlement between Israel and the Arabs. The peace deal will allow Israel to disarm, and will ensure that they have European protection against any sort of attack. A few years later, when the Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 occurs, this duo will be destroyed in the city of Rome.

The Russo/Iranian coalition will have to destroy Rome when they go after Israel, or else they will have to face a European army.

The destruction of Rome will be interpreted by the majority in Christendom as having been the fulfilment of Revelation 17 and 18! It logically follows that this war is Armageddon, and that following this carnage, the world can expect a time of peace, and the millennial reign of Christ.

Many false teachers already teach that the Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 is a part of the Tribulation, or is in fact Armageddon itself.  It is not.  In fact it is only one of the “wars and rumours of wars” which Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24:6

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

He meant “the end for you is not yet”.

The problem is that Jesus will not return in the aftermath of the Gog/Magog war, rather this war will propel the governments of the world to unite in order to prevent this type of thing from happening in the future. Instead of Jesus Christ returning, another world leader will arise in the aftermath of this war.

He might claim that he is here “in the spirit of Christ” but  in fact this will be the Antichrist.

One of his first acts will be to reinstate the treaty instituted after the Psalm 83 war, the very same treaty that led most Christians to identify the author of that treaty, the European leader, as the Antichrist! This is why it says about the Antichrist, And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…” Daniel 9:27 The “covenant” he confirms will not be his own, but will be an agreement which has already been in place for some time, having been negotiated by another world leader. He will merely add to the nations involved with that agreement.

So what will be happening in North America when the End Times events are occurring in Europe and the Middle East? Well the truth is that the whole world will join in during Armageddon. The Antichrist’s kingdom will extend over the earth, and every nation will be a part of it. Canada and the USA will send troops during the final battle, as will Brazil and Zimbabwe, but the events I have written about thus far are actually Church-Age events. If you have not yet died, you will be here for both the Psalm 83, and Ezekiel 38-39 wars.

The ‘Hate Speech’ Canard: Ticket to Tyranny

In order to get the USA to participate, willingly, in the kingdom of the Antichrist, Satan has to create a villain, or group of villains, whom he can destroy as a diversion. He has to distract attention away from the real Antichrist.  It is my opinion that this group of villains is the Democratic leadership who are ruling the USA right now. They are turning good into evil and evil into “good”!  They are so obviously evil, and foolish, that it is certain that they are playing a role in someone’s play.

It is hard to believe that a more insane group of people could ever take power, although I would have to caution that the Republican party is almost as leftist as the Democrats. The Republicans are liberals who don’t move quite as quickly as the Democrats, but the truth is that they are both moving in the same direction. It is the same in Canada, and the rest of the world.

Someone like Ted Cruz, will be waiting in the wings, when the Democrats crash and burn, and after a Democratically led economic disaster, the nation will be ready for someone a little more to the right. I don’t think the USA is in bad enough shape for their citizens to kick-out the Dems just yet, so I don’t expect a Republican leader until at least the 2020 elections. Most people will vote for those who promise them a free ride, until the economy comes crashing down around their ears, and when it does the New Apostolic Reformation will be there, waiting in the wings, and ready to create the kingdom of the Antichrist.

Take a look at this article, and look for the phrase “seven mountain mandate”. I am quite sure the NAR’s “Seven mountain mandate” is the seven mountains referred to in Revelation 17, and not the seven hills of Rome. While I would tend to agree more with Ted Cruz’ economic policies, than with Obama’s, I am suspicious of anyone who has an association with the New Apostolic Reformation. Mr. Cruz’ father, Rafael Cruz, is a part of the New Apostolic Reformation. Listen to what he says in this video. Notice that their focus is on this world, and worldly wealth, and not on Jesus Christ;

Dominionism is not a doctrine of the bible, not Christian, but is a heresy which has infected many professing Christian Churches. It essentially teaches that the Church must take dominion over the earth before Jesus Christ can return. They claim that they will take over the world and then hand it over to Jesus Christ at his return, thus putting Jesus Christ in their debt! No, this is not faith, and for the most part, these are not Christians.

The bible does not teach an End-Times Christian revival, but rather and End Times Apostasy.

After the destruction of Rome, the Roman Catholic Church will be humbled, and will be quite willing to unite with other professing Christians like the mainline denominations, and the NAR. They will have to chose a new city for a headquarters, because of the fallout in Rome, and my guess is that their choice will be in Babylon, Iraq.

Dan, u said, ” I don’t think the USA is in bad enough shape for their citizens to kick-out the Dems just yet, so I don’t expect a Republican leader until at least the 2020 elections.”
I take it u don’t believe there’s an economic implosion or depression about to occur in the Sept/
Oct window as per Mark Biltz, Jonathan Cahn, French Foreign Minister, Christine Lagarde, and a great many other Christians, Jews, Muslim, awa irreligious leaders are predicting.
Some other economic gurus are predicting China will also become part of the SDR order
which will enter center stage in Oct…
U mite want to do some further homework on all of this.

    • Brent says:

      Hi Dan,
I too wanted to ask you about the chatter regarding September events. William Frederick who wrote, “The coming Epiphany” which covers the wars you mention etc (endtimesforecaster.blogspot.ca) had an intriguing article that touches on the various September Feast season speculations flying around the internet. “Beware Sept. 2015!” it’s called. People are speculating about the Pope’s visit to congress and the UN, and various synchronicities surrounding that season. Do you see anything pertaining to your article in these considerations?

      Brent.

      • dknezacek says:

        Hi Brent,

I see that my article has only scratched the surface. I believe we are in the midst of Satan setting up a huge deception, and yes, the current world events are clearly a part of it.

As I said to Dave below, please read my article about the Denver International Airport, https://housetops.me/2012/01/03/denver-international-airport-and-the-new-world-order/, and ask yourself “how could New Age pagans get it so right?”

In order for Satan to get professing Christians to accept his Antichrist as a saviour, he has to give them what they expect; an Antichrist, a false prophet, and a tribulation period.

So this is what he is working on right now, with pope Francis, and events in Europe. I would not be surprised to see the EU break up this year, although it could be next year, and the remnants to form two or three economic/political unions.

I would expect the pseudo-Antichrist to arise from a Southern European Union, and to be great friends with the pope. I would also expect the S.E.U. to choose Rome as a capital and not Brussels.

This is all a part of Satan’s deception.

Most people expect Satan to counterfeit the truth, but not many expect him to counterfeit the counterfeit, but Rome is a counterfeit of Babylon, and the pope is a counterfeit of the false prophet.

So, when Christians all over the world are pointing to these two men and saying “That’s the false prophet, and the Antichrist”, I will be saying, Lord willing should I still be here, “No! No! No! That is Satan’s counterfeit!”, the real Antichrist will look more like most people’s idea of how a Christian should look!

Thanks for the link, I will check it out.

        Dan

    • dknezacek says:

      Hi Dave,

There is certainly an economic implosion coming to the USA, and indeed the entire western world, but I am not certain it will be this September.

Even if it is this September or October, I don’t think this will be a part of the Tribulation. We are still in the throes of setting the stage for the End Times events. It certainly could be “wars and rumours of wars”, and economic upheaval. The human race has a tendency to rush God, rather than wait for His timing.

What I am saying is that Satan is working on a counterfeit of the Tribulation, which will happen before the actual Tribulation. A lot of professing Christians will interpret these events wrongly, essentially rushing God.

Satan is working to make the world desperate for a saviour, a saviour he will supply.

Search this site for “the Denver Airport” (https://housetops.me/2012/01/03/denver-international-airport-and-the-new-world-order/) and take a look at the artwork there. You will see that the New Age is saying something that actually parallels what Christians are saying; that there is a Tribulation period coming with a world dictator and false prophet, which will set the world on fire, and after this there will be a time of peace and joy!

How could the New Age pagans get it so right? The answer is that Satan is setting up a counterfeit Tribulation which will occur before the real Tribulation begins. He is going to take biblically prophesied events; the Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 wars, and make people think these events are the Tribulation. All he has to do is to produce a few counterfeits, such as a pseudo-false prophet, and a pseudo-Antichrist, and people will believe it.

After all, he will have no difficulty making it look like biblically prophesied events, when they actually are biblically prophesied events. And when these are all over, he will bring out his Antichrist, whom the world will receive with joy, as a Saviour!

Unfortunately, a lot of professing Christians will believe they have been through the Tribulation itself, and a lot of false teachers will be telling them so.

This is the best explanation for Paul’s statements in I Thessalonians 5:3
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

As I have stated before, the actual Tribulation will not occur until 100% of Israel return to the land, and this will not occur until AFTER the Gog/Magog war (see Zephaniah 2:1-2 & Ezekiel 39:25-28)

The idea that the Tribulation, and rapture, could occur without warning is contrary to many statements in Scripture, and one of my biggest arguments with Dispensationalists.

Thanks for writing, it is always good to hear from an old friend!

      Dan

      • archivesdave says:

I agree with you here Dan….but I think u are further underscoring some type of major economic and other event(s) that will occur in the Sept/ Oct window.
No doubt about it, Satan is the master counterfeiter!…”As above, so below” and “ordo ab chao”.
Oh, yes, I’ve studied quite a bit on the Denver Airport and what’s under it.

  2. dknezacek says:

Hosea told us a lot about the length of the Church-age in 5:15-6:2

15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Peter told us that the return of the Lord is related to the fact that a day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day (2 Peter3:8-10), so we know that the Church-Age will be around 2,000 years, and His return for Israel will be after the two thousand years are over. It is still possible that the 7 year Tribulation will straddle the anniversary of the cross, and if Satan is to present a pseudo-Tribulation before the real one starts, then the End Times events could start around 14 years earlier.

So the question is when did He leave? Most scholars believe the crucifixion was between AD28-33, so if the End Times events start this year, we could have a long period of turmoil before the rapture. On the other hand, it would be almost exactly right if the crucifixion was in 29 AD.

Things do appear to be right on track.

Another implication to this idea is that the “Day of the Lord” is not a seven-year-day, but a thousand-year-day which includes the second half of the Tribulation (3 1/2 years), and ends 1,000 years later with the destruction of the earth.

Since no one knows for sure when the crucifixion was, all we can do really, is to watch for the signs He told us about.

    More food for thought.

    • Matthias says:

      Hi Dan,

interesting subject. Wouldn’t it make sense to see Mt. 24,22 in this context?

” 22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened”

This seems me to be a hint that GOD himself is going to reduce the 1.000 years of the Day of the Lord to a bare minimum of 3,5 years. Maybe we could even draw some parallels to the 7 years lasting famine, we do know from the Joseph story. If there would be an interrelationship to the 7 + 7 years we could even expect the precedent 7 years (to be a time economy will flourish. Maybe a time of welllfare after one of the coming big wars, followed by 7 years of decline.

      Many regards

      Matthias

      • dknezacek says:

        Hi Matthias,

        I tend to think the shortening has something to do with these statements from Daniel 12;

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

I can’t really say I understand everything that is being said, but I don’t think the Lord would shorten the millennial reign down from 1000 years to only 3 1/2 years. The shortening appears to be in relation to the reign of the Antichrist, not the reign of Jesus Christ.

Still, the time of upheaval, which is almost upon us, is almost certainly closer to 14 years, than 7, but again, I don’t believe that the shortening has to do with the first part, which will occur during the closing days of the Church Age.

What would God want to be shortened? Clearly He is against evil, so the most evil thing in the world’s history would be the thing He is most against. As far as I can tell that would be the reign of the Beast.

Is it possible that the Beast’s followers will keep on fighting Jesus Christ, even after their leaders are thrown into the Lake of Fire? Considering that they will be totally deluded, I think this is possible. If they believe they are fighting a hostile alien, then why would they give in when their own leaders are gone? Desperation leads men to do desperate things.

        Anyway, those are some thoughts.

        Thanks for writing,

        Dan

      • Matthias says:

Yes, thanks Dan. I was not clear enough. To shorten the millenial reign of Christ from 1.000 yers to 3,5 would be pretty disappointing. lol

What I wrote was meant in the context of Matthäus 24 . The shortening of the judgement and tribulation period to a bare minimum of 3,5 years. One can argue that a much longer period of God’s wrath would have been to expect, if not God himself already had assured that it will all be restricted to 3,5 years.

Judgement over Israel after the crucifixion of Jesus was about 2.000 years, so 3,5 years of wrath is – thanks God – at least much shorter than what one could imagine.

      • dknezacek says:

        Hi Mat,

Yeah, I think you are at least partly correct. I don’t think we can know the exact amount He will shorten it by, but I suspect it won’t be 3 1/2 years. More likely just a few weeks to, perhaps, a few months.

I believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture, and while I know I don’t deserve it, I am hoping He will take me on that day. ( I hope to meet you in the air too, though I’ll be looking for Jesus!)

He is shortening the time because it will be so terrible that without this act of mercy, life on the planet would cease to exist!

These people who tell us that we need to do this, or that, to save the planet, really don’t care about the planet at all. They are just using scare tactics to gain power over people! In the end, and not too far away, they will just about destroy the whole place!

        Talk to you soon,

        Dan

      • Matthias says:

        Hi Dan,

I’m really thanking GOD that I can looking forward pre-trib rapture too.
Of course, I don’t know if it will be at my life-time or not, but this is even not so important. But important is that the last generation of the ecclesia will be taken away. Some of those “participants” – I’m quite sure – can be found in every denomination, so I don’t advocate joining a special one, despite the fact that I can not deny my Lutherian backgound. 😉

But even after the rapture, there will still be lots of people on earth who will become believers in the course of the events (esp. in Isreal, but also in the nations). And in my understanding GOD will shorten the period from “one day of GOD” (1.000 years or so) to 3,5 years (second half of the 7 years Daniel was talking about). Jesus himself said in Matt. 24, if I remember correctely, that nobody on earth would survive (be saved) if the days would not be shortened.

I’m also interested in the well-being of those who will left behind. Lots of people from Israel and probably even a lot of people from the peace and truther movements, who are oftentimes very likable persons, standing up for other people rights and for humanity. 🙂

  3. Matthias says:

I mean, seriously, for example a Swiss who is totally engaged in peace research, uncovering how the mainstream media and politicians are lying to us, such a guy can not be totally evil, can he? lol

However, maybe you find time and opportunity to check out the following youtube vid. Pretty good journalism and research, highly recommended.

    All the best

    Matt
