The other day on Facebook I noticed that a popular End Times prophecy blog, Now The End Begins, had been hijacked on YouTube by a group of Neo Nazis masquerading as Christians. I was amazed that they had the gall to actually use the same name, and then proceeded to show videos regarding the bible’s End Times Prophecies. It was a form of identity theft, by people representing themselves as “Christians”.

I decided to watch one of their videos and I noticed that they immediately began to build a case for “Christian” anti-Semitism. They quoted anti-Semitic statements by John Chrysostom among other ancient Christian leaders.  At first I thought they were going to refute Chrysostom’s errors, but in fact it became apparent that they agreed with him!

Well, I sent in a protest to Facebook, and the next time I checked out their page they had changed the name to “Now The End Has Began”! They even got the tense wrong! Amazing!

I will not post their link because their statements are so vicious that I do not want to promote them in any way!

One of the speakers featured on the videos was one Texe Marrs, a “Prophecy Teacher” from Texas, and one whom I had actually supported during the 1990s. He started off sounding  conventional, and Christian, in his radio shows, and with his choice of guests.  I actually did learn some facts about Freemasonry from his tapes, but some time around the late 1990s to the early 2000’s he began to sound so wildly anti-Semitic that I stopped supporting him altogether.

I think he has turned out to be a “fifth column” in Christian circles, a corrupter of the Church, and a promoter of hatred against a whole nation of people, made in the image of God!

No doubt there really are conspiracies in the world. History is replete with stories of conspiracies, from the assassination of Julius Caesar, to the take-overs of Russia and China by the Communists. No doubt 9/11 was also the result of a conspiracy, whether Muslim or CIA is immaterial to my point. (It was Muslims, although it appears the CIA was not altogether zealous in protecting the USA from terrorist attack)

Here’s the problem; Christians are not called to tilt at windmills, or even fight real conspiracies!  We are commanded to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature. “Every creature”, by the way, includes the Jews.  We are also called to love our enemies, so if you consider Jews to be an enemy, then you need to follow Jesus’ advice and love them!

If you listen to Texe Marrs, the Jews are responsible for everything evil in the world. At one time he attacked the Catholic Church for their errors, but now it seems that he has forgotten about every evil, but the supposed conspiracies of the Jews!

While Texe Marrs, and his associates may represent the lunatic fringe, the problem with such extremes is that they are more main-stream than you or I would want to believe. The video referred to above quotes ancient “Christian” leaders such as John Chrysostom, to support their anti-Semitism. Unfortunately Marrs and his crowd are not the only ones who take those ancient anti-Semites seriously…

Presbyterian USA, the United Church of Christ, the United Church of Canada, US Methodists, Menonites, and Quakers, are but a handful of the many Churches and Christian organizations participating in the BDS campaign against Israel. (BDS = Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions against Israel) This is nothing less than a campaign to delegitamize Israel in the eyes of the world.

While the BDS movement ostensibly has as its goal the economic welfare of the Palestinian people, it is actually Israel itself who benefits the Palestinians more than any of these organizations! Palestinian Arabs who work in Israel have a higher standard of living than their countrymen, who refuse to do so, and in fact, have a higher standard of living than almost all other Muslims throughout the Middle East!

But we must not let the facts get in the way of a good story!

This is amazing because these “Christian” groups are aligning themselves against the welfare of Palestinians, and ultimately against God! You see, God actually said that He would bring Israel back to the land, and he never transferred those promises to anyone else! Working against Israel is actually siding with the Serpent. It matters not whether you pay lip-service to Jesus Christ, or not. If you oppose His purposes you have taken sides with Satan!

1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’S anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger. Zephaniah 2:1-3

A lot of these anti-Semites, like Texe Marrs, point to Israel’s lack of faith in Jesus Christ, as a reason that God would not bring them back to the land, but go back and read verse 1 above, again.

Who is the “nation not desired”? Is this the Christian Church? Of course not! This is a reference to Israel, still in unbelief, being gathered to the land of Israel, BEFORE the Tribulation period begins! This is exactly what we are seeing today, and these people, with their open hostility towards the Children of Jacob, will actually drive them back to the land!

Talk about working against your own stated goals and interests!

These people are actually one side of a two headed snake!

The snake’s other head is the “Christian” groups, and leaders, like John Hagee, who openly encourage Jews to return to Israel, and explicitly state that Jews do not need Jesus to be saved! Such teachers are just as Satanic as the BDS group, only with a smile on their face!

Let me state in no uncertain terms, that if you are Jewish you cannot be saved unless you place your faith in your Jewish Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: Romans 2:9-10

For a Jew to go to Israel as an unbeliever is a very dangerous thing for him or her. On the other hand, believing (Christian) Jews should go back. Israel needs a Christian witness, and the greatest Christian witness will be when true believers, around the world, and in Israel, disappear during the rapture. I am certain that God wants Jewish Christians in Israel. You and I should support their ministries there, but don’t be afraid to purchase secularly made Israeli products either.

Jews are our brothers, and deserve the same love and respect that any other group of people deserve. Not only this, but God’s promise to them still stands. He never cancelled it, “for the promises of God are without repentance”!

God never changes, and He would never make a promise to someone if He knew He would not be able to keep it! He has always known that Israel would abandon Him, and He also knows how to bring them back to Himself. He will do that during the Tribulation!

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:3

All the families of the earth are blessed because of the Jewish Saviour who died of all the sins of the world. Because of Him, and only Him, we can join the family of God!

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Paul gave us advice concerning Israel and the Jews;

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election,they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. Romans 11:28

So, the Jews have made themselves enemies of Christianity because of the Jewish Saviour. Nevertheless, because they are direct descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and brothers of Jesus Christ, we need to show Christian love to them.

The actions of Texe Marrs, the BDS movement, and pastors like John Hagee are inconsistent with the commands of Scripture, and the love of God, but they do serve a purpose; they collectively are a “hiss” which will bring Israel back to their land!

I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased. Zechariah 10:8

A hiss is never friendly, and neither is this one. God will use these servants of Satan to bring back the final remnants of Israel. The one head will hiss hostility, but the other head will hiss “It is safe to go back, because the Tribulation is over, and your time to reign has come!” This will occur at the end of the Gog/Magog war, when the world believes it has been through the Tribulation period.

A great many people, both Jewish and Christian, have already been teaching that the Gog/Magog war, of Ezekiel 38-39 is a part of the Tribulation, or even Armageddon itself. This is a serious deception, and it has been perpetrated by Christian, and Jewish, scholars! They are wrong, because they have been reading their own eschatology into the bible, rather than reading what is there!

Zephaniah 2 told us that Israel would return BEFORE the Tribulation period, and Ezekiel tells us that Israel will finally come back AFTER the Gog/Magog war. It is simple logic, and yet millions have missed it;

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Ezekiel 39:25, 28

There will be no Israelites living any where else in the world, but Israel, by this time. Now there is nothing in the way of the Tribulation period, but the last remaining Christians in the world. Now we have a time frame for the rapture!

So, while the Jews have been returning since the 1800s, the final stragglers will return after this war. Why now? Because they believe this has been the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. They believe they have missed it, and it is now safe for them to return! This belief will be encouraged by the second head of the snake!  This will be the fulfilment of Paul’s words;

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. I Thessalonians 5:3

So, when Jesus rhetorically asked “when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8b) He is referring to these “Christians” who have hissed with Satan’s voice!  By that time they will be the majority in professing Christendom!

Oh, my dear reader, I hope you will not be one of them! Watch the world, but continue in the Word, and prayer, and be ready because some hard times are almost upon us!

Keep looking up, because Jesus Christ is still the King of kings, and Lord of lords, and He is coming soon!
