Brexit and Grexit

Some of you may have noticed that I don’t have a lot to say these days. The truth is that I believe I have said everything I need to say in The Spirit of Prophecy, and in past articles on housetops.

At this point all that is left is to watch international events and analyze how they fit into the larger End Times plan, and maybe sometimes, I need to repeat what I have already laid-out for those of you who are new to this site.

When Jesus spoke about the End Times in Matthew 24 He stated that the end of the age would be characterized by “wars and rumours of wars”. Many have interpreted this to mean the early part of the Tribulation period, but in fact, He was referring to the closing days, months, and years, of the Church-Age.

There are two biblically prophesied wars, that I can find, (there could be more, but certainly not less) that are specifically timed to occur during the closing years of the Church-age; Psalm 83, and Ezekiel 38-39.

Many of the End Times events will occur simultaneously, with some overlapping others; for instance, the current push for globalization is a push to create the ten super-nations of Revelation 17. Even while this push is on, both the Psalm 83 war, and the Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39, will occur and will actually facilitate the formation of this ten-nation World government.

Satan’s goal is to convince you and I that something is what it is not. He cannot control when these events happen. He can only twist how we view them, in light of biblical prophecy. Having the wrong view of biblical prophecy can be detrimental to your soul!

Many bible and prophecy teachers will view both of these wars as comprising the Great Tribulation, with the second identified as Armageddon itself! Nothing could be further from the truth!

So why would there be a large movement to discredit the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine? It is because, if we have not died yet, we will still be here for both the Psalm 83, and the Ezekiel 38-39 wars. The Christian Church will be still here for both of these wars, and the second one will be more devastating than World War 2! So steel yourself, and be prepared to give a reason for your faith when all Hell breaks-out around you!

These wars will be going-on, and false teachers will be telling you “Look, we are in the Tribulation and the rapture has not happened yet! You were wrong about the pre-Tribulation rapture!” Don’t believe them!

At the end of the Gog/Magog war, these same people will be telling us, “Now it is time for us to form the Kingdom of God on Earth!” Don’t believe them!

When Rome is destroyed by a nuclear weapon, they will say that Revelation 18 has been fulfilled, that the Whore has been judged! Then they will be saying that the time for the millennial reign is upon us, and now we must get together, put aside our differences, and work together for world peace.

This is what Paul was speaking of when he said “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” I Thessalonians 5:3

When the European Union breaks-up, it will be replaced by “daughter unions”. The component natons of the EU know that it makes sense for them to band together, but it does not make sense for nations with different economic and political policies to be united. For instance, you can’t have one nation where everyone retires at 58 years of age, or earlier, being supported by workers of the same age in another country, being forced to work until they are 65, or older.

This situation even occurs within nations where one group, such as large numbers of immigrants, live on welfare while large numbers of indigenous persons keep on working and paying large amounts of tax to support those who will not work. By the way, any able-bodied person can work, but many render themselves un-employable by refusing to learn the language of their host nation!

Such a system is guaranteed to fail from the outset.

Grexit is still on the table, and is inevitable as long as Europe does not address the underlying causes. I guess that means that it is inevitable, because Europe is not able to address the underlying discrepancies in the different national government policies of the EU. The Greek financial problems and/or the immigration crisis might just push them over the edge.

Next month the UK is having a “Brexit” referendum on whether they should leave the EU or not, and whether they stay this time, or leave, ultimately they will leave, or it will fall apart around them.

Anyone following the Brexit debate in recent days will be familiar with Boris Johnson’s statement that those who favour a united Europe have similar goals to the Nazis.

“Conservative former Chancellor Lord Lamont, who is also backing a Leave vote on June 23, said it is a “fact there were fascist theorists who believed very strongly in a united Europe”.

The peer told Murnaghan on Sky News: “I don’t think (Mr Johnson) was saying people who favour the European Union were comparable to Nazis.

“He was simply saying that historically, from the Romans, Charlemagne, Napoleon, there have been all sorts of attempts to dominate Europe and these have all floundered because Europe is not naturally one entity.”” (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/15/brexit-tories-back-boris-johnson-saying-his-eunazi-germany-compa/ )

In fact, as I have repeatedly said, Europe is more naturally three, or maybe four, entities, and these divisions will play an important role in the coming war of Ezekiel 38-39.

I would break down these entities thusly; Western Europe – Britain, Germany, France, Scandinavia, and the Benelux countries (descendants of one Gomer, grandson of Noah). Eastern Europe – The countries of the former Warsaw Pact (Descendants of Magog), Russia (descendants of Meshech and Tubal), and Southern Europe – including Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, and another six allied nations (descendants of Noah’s grandson Javan).

Where will Turkey be during this event? I cannot quite say at the moment; They certainly will be allied with the coalition that attacks Israel and the Southern European Union, but if they will be part of a regional and economic union I cannot say. They could be a part of another union with the related nations of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, etc.

The descendants of Javan are quite interesting, because they are not listed as attacking armies in the Ezekiel account, but they do make-up a group of nations geographically between the northern Europeans and Israel.

Israel has been drawing closer to nations like Italy and Greece in recent years, purchasing military aircraft from Italy, and cooperating in military exercises with Greece and Cyprus.

As I said above, Satan’s goal is to convince us that something is what it is not. In order to make us believe that the Antichrist has been defeated, he has to give us someone we could really believe is the Antichrist,and the false prophet. Then he has to destroy them in a war that looks a lot like Armageddon.

This war will be devastating, and we can be sure that nuclear devices will be used. I am afraid that southern Europe will receive the brunt of the destruction, especially Rome. As a result of this destruction, and the dust and smoke kicked up in the atmosphere, the sun will be darker, and the moon will appear red in the night sky. This will be fulfilment of Joel’s prophecy;

Joel 2:31
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

In recent days many prophecy teachers have said that the lunar eclipses of the last couple of years are fulfilment of this prophecy, but they are incorrect; It is a result of these End Times wars, and fulfilment of Jesus’ prophecy of “wars and rumours of wars” which will cause this phenomenon.

So, is this the year of Brexit and Grexit? I can’t say for sure, but it will happen in the not too distant future. Once one of them leaves the Euro, others are sure to follow, and the resulting shake-up will re-write the map of Europe!

Interestingly, Nigel Farrage is saying exactly the same thing that I am saying. When he said that the EU would have worked if it only had been Germany and some of north-western European nations. I think he will be in favour when a North-Western European Union is proposed after Brexit.
