British Prime Minister David Cameron has signed an agreement with the EU, which the British people will vote on, in a Brexit referendum on June 23.

“The deal delivers victory to Cameron on several key demands – changes he says make up a “new settlement” with Europe.

The deal includes an “emergency brake” on in-work benefits for EU migrants for up to four years, when there’s an exceptional influx.

Eastern European countries, who had wrangled over the welfare demands, were only partially successful in restricting cuts to new arrivals rather than European migrant workers already in the UK.

The Visegrad group – made of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic – say the deal reflects their key demands.

Cameron also won a commitment that there would be safeguards against financial regulation being imposed on the City of London by the euro zone.

In a victory over France, which had concerns about fairness, just one country would be enough to pull an emergency “brake” on eurozone issues.

The legally-binding agreement in Brussels also grants Britain an explicit exemption from the founding goal of “ever closer union.”

Belgium, concerned about a precedent being set for states to snub EU integration, secured a so-called “self destruct” clause – whereby the whole deal would be void if Britain votes to leave the EU.

My first comment is “Is this any way to run a country?”, or to borrow a phrase from Daffy Duck “What a way to run a railroad!”

Giving one province a veto over national legislation will essentially ensure the failure of the entire venture! The entire national government in Brussels is essentially held hostage by any “provincial government” that does not like any particular piece of legislation.

By being so desperate to please everyone the European Commission has essentially guaranteed the destruction of the entire European dream!

This is the first time I have heard the term “The Visegrad group” (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) and what I see here appears to be the beginnings of a “daughter union” of the EU. Not only would these nations appear to be the nucleus of another political and economic union, but these nations are descendants of one man, a grandson of Noah named Magog.

Don’t assume that the different languages indicate a different genetic background. God scrambled the languages at Babel, so that even brothers might not have been able to understand each other at that time.  Other times, as sons married cousins, the closeness of families would have been preserved, so some of  Magog’s descendants would have spoken the language of their wives, proto-Slavic, while their brothers would have spoken other languages such as Hungarian, for instance.

These nations are not the only descendants of Magog, either. Other nations such as Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Georgia, and Ukraine might also belong to this family. It remains to be seen where the final borders of Magog will be drawn, but they will be drawn, along family lines, and it appears that it will occur fairly soon.

Individually these small nations are extremely vulnerable to pressure, and military incursions, by their more powerful neighbours i.e. Germany and Russia. The 2014 take-over of the Crimea by Russia has proven this point. In order for them to protect their borders, they need band together. This is a necessity, and it is God who has made it so.

Ultimately the whole world will unite, first in ten super-nations, and from there under a one-world government.

This situation was first foretold in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2;

31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. 32 This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,  33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

The ten toes of Nebuchadnezzar’s image are being put together now. These are the ten kings spoken of in Revelation 17 as well.

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.  13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Notice that these ten kings “have received no kingdom as yet”.  This means that the kingdoms they will rule will be created in the last days.  The 200+ nations of the earth will be amalgamated into ten super-nations.

This will take a few years. In fact the UN was founded for the purpose of creating a world government in 1947.  They are still pushing for it today.

Is it possible that the EU is one of the ten toes of Nebuchadnezzar’s vision? I don’t think so, because it appears that Magog is separate and distinct from both Russia, and Western Europe. In fact it looks like Southern Europe is separate and distinct from North-Western, as well as Eastern Europe. There will be more European wars in the future!

While North-Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Russia will join together to attack Israel during the Ezekiel 38-39 war, they will not be considered one nation but will retain their national, or at least super-national, identities.

In fact the nation known as Magog, and comprised of Magog’s descendants, will actually survive the Tribulation, into and throughout the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ! They will be leaders in the final rebellion at the end, found in Revelation 20:8.

So who is Gog? Gog is not a man, but the biblical title held by the leader of this future nation. One Gog will lead the forces of the west against Israel shortly before the Tribulation, and another Gog will lead the armies of the world against Jesus Christ, and Israel, at the end of a thousand years of peace and prosperity.

The final “war” is not really a war, because this is the final act of rebellion for this planet. When they gather, Jesus will end the entire human experiment, and judgment day will begin!

It sure looks like the biblical End Times scenario I laid-out in the Spirit of Prophecy was right on the money!

So, the European project is doomed. It cannot survive. The only question left is “when”?
