“BRUSSELS – In Greek mythology, the Phoenician princess Europa was abducted and raped by the king of the gods, Zeus.
But her image will from next year replace pictures of windows and doors on euro banknotes as a security and deocrative feature.
“Portraits have long been used in banknotes around the world and research has shown that people tend to remember faces. Is there any better figure than Europa to serve as the new face of the euro?” the chief of the European Central Bank (ECB), Mario Draghi, said on Thursday (8 November) according to Bloomberg.
She will first appear on the €5 note in May, with other notes introduced in ascending order in the next few years.”
This development will have many prophecy buffs excited, but there is something you should know before you get carried away; Satan always has his counterfeits!

This development is a sure sign that we are in the End Times, but it may not transpire as many believe it will. I fear Satan is setting up a counterfeit Harlot (Rev. 17) and a counterfeit city (Rome), and counterfeits of the Antichrist and the False Prophet, for the express purpose of destroying them!
Satan has no love for any of these entities. He will use them and discard them like crumpled old candy wrappers! Once the counterfeit has been destroyed, the real will make their appearance, and the world will breathe a sigh of relief!
Remember this; the Roman Catholic church will survive the destruction of Rome! She will have to move her headquarters, and elect a new leader, but the church of Rome does have the ability to relocate her headquarters if the need arises, and it will! When the bible speaks of God’s judgment against Babylon, it is not mincing words. Babylon will receive God’s judgment when the time is right.
In the mean time you can expect more of this. Europe will elect a dictator, and the Pope will affirm this man. In the aftermath of the Psalm 83 war you can expect this European leader to make a deal with Israel in which Israel will give up her nukes in exchange for a European guarantee of security.
I expect that this guarantee of Israel’s security will result in someone (probably Russia) destroying the European capital (probably Rome) in the early stages of the Gog and Magog war. When they go after Israel, they will first have to stop the Europeans from coming to her aid.
All of this looks like fulfillment of biblical prophecy, but as I started out saying, it is a counterfeit. These things will happen because Satan has to make his Antichrist look like a Saviour!
The real “city of seven mountains” is Amman. The real Antichrist will come from the descendants of Esau, Jacob’s brother. He will be an Arab, from a Muslim background, but the world will think he is a Christian because of his policies, and he talks of “the Christ”. He will show up after these major wars, and the world will look to him as a man of peace. He will use the Catholic and protestant denominations to gain power, and then he will destroy them. They won’t know what hit them!
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. I Thessalonians 5:3

I understand the Antichrist will come out of the revived Roman Empire because Daniel 9:24-27 says the prince to come comes out of the people who will destroy the city and sanctuary. In 70 AD the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple.Since Rome at that time was ruled from Rome in Europe, Europe will be the location of the revived Roman Empire from where the Antichrist will rule.

I would suggest you search through my site for “the Jordanian Antichrist” There are several articles that outline why the Antichrist will come from Jordan, from the descendants of Esau.
There were many people in Roman armies, and we know for certain that there were Syrians in the armies that destroyed Jerusalem, but before they got to Israel another group of people showed up, and actually started the carnage, killing 20,500 people, starting with 8,500 in the temple itself! These were the Idumeans, or Edomites, the closest relatives to the Jewish people!

Hi Dan. I read your article the Jordanian Antichrist. You have put a lot of thought and study into it. If someone was coming from Jordan or Edom he would probably be a Myslim. I can’t see how Israel would trust a Muslem. You have a lot of background I see. I believe Isaiah 14 begins with the prince of Tyre, a nan, making himself a god. Hi Ted, If you watch some of Amir Tsarfati’s videos, Israel is trusting and working dangerously close with Saudi Arabia. Israel, like all leftists has the strange notion that enemies can be trusted if they say a few nice things. They will soon find out that the Psalm 83 war has not yet occurred.
Several years will occur between now and the rise of the Antichrist. I think there will be some events that will convince Israel that this Jordanian can be trusted. I would not be surprised if he will actually spend some time in Israel, perhaps as a refugee from some war or assassination attempt. Don’t forget that his best friend is a Jew, the false prophet! Somehow the young Antichrist will make contact, and become friends, with at least one Jewish man, and probably more than a few.
As I said in several articles, the wording of Daniel 11:36-37 indicates that the Antichrist will NOT have a Jewish or Christian background;
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
So if the Antichrist says marvellous things AGAINST the God of gods, and neither does he regard the God of his fathers, then we know that the God of his fathers is not the God of gods, the God of Christians and Jews. Since they use the capital “G” for God of his fathers, this would tell us that this is a monotheistic God, who is not the God of the bible. Other than the Allah of the Qur’an there are not a lot of choices for such a God. The only other one I can think of would be the Zoroastrian God Ahura Mazda. I don’t think the Beast will be Iranian. Having just come through a major war with Iran, Israel will be skeptical of anyone with an Iranian background.
On the other hand, if a young Jordanian has been a vocal supporter of Israel during the Gog and Magog war, perhaps even being one of the voices protesting the Russo/Iranian attack, Israel will be tempted to think they have a true friend in this young prince of Jordan.
Isaiah 14 is addressed to the king of Babylon. While many bibles translate “heylel” as “Lucifer” the context of the passage indicates that the person in question is none other than the Antichrist the “abominable Branch”. The Babylon in question is not the ancient Babylon, but the End Times Babylon of the Tribulation period found in Revelation 17 and 18.
Your reference to the king of Tyre is regarding Ezekiel 28:12. That one is actually about Satan in his early days as an Angel of God. You are right that he will work with the Antichrist to form the headship of a blasphemous Trinity.
